Payment Policy

Booking & Payments

  1. Booking Confirmation:
    • A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking.
    • The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to the tour start date (for Multiday Tours with Accommodations).
    • The remaining balance must be paid 14 days prior to the tour start date (for Day Excursions & Transfers).
  2. Payment Methods:
    • We accept payments via credit card, debit card or other accepted methods. Full Payment is required before start the tour.
    • Any bank or transaction charges are to be borne by the client.
  3. Late Payments:
    • If the final payment is not received by the due date, Sign of Lanka (Pvt) Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply cancellation charges as per the policy.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Client:

Multiday Tours with Accommodations

  • 30 Days prior to the scheduled starting date: No Cancellation Fee
  • 29-15 Days prior to the scheduled starting date: 50% Cancellation Fee
  • 14 Days prior to the scheduled starting date: 75% Cancellation Fee
  • Within 07 days prior to the scheduled starting date: 100% Cancellation Fee
  • No Shows - 100% Cancellation Fee

Day Tours & Transfers

  • 03 Days prior to the scheduled starting date: No Cancellation Fee
  • 02-01 days prior to the tour start date: 50% of the total tour cost will be refunded
  • Within 24 Hours prior to the scheduled starting time: 100% Cancellation Fee
  • No Shows - 100% Cancellation Fee

Cancellation by the Company:

  • If Sign of Lanka (Pvt Ltd) cancels the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, political instability, etc.), the client will receive a full refund or an option to reschedule.

Refund Policy

  1. Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of receiving the cancellation request.
  2. Refunds will be made via the same method used for the initial payment.
  3. Bank charges, transfer fees, or currency conversion fees (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund amount.

Non-Refundable Policy

  1. Non-Refundable Deposits:
    • Deposits made for special bookings (e.g., discounted packages, peak season reservations) are non-refundable.
  2. Unused Services:
    • No refunds will be provided for services not utilized (e.g., missed activities, early departure, or no-shows).
  3. Third-Party Costs:
    • Costs incurred for third-party services (e.g., hotel bookings, transport arrangements) that are non-refundable by their respective policies will not be reimbursed.
